arts fest is over(: and it turned out pretty well in the end

i guess we've been practising for arts fest for a pretty long time, and up until now i haven't really understood the point of arts fest, despite all the talks about the historical importance and celebration of the performing arts in school that were given. and i guess we were all more or less unwilling to perform in arts fest because of the effort and sacrifice that it required us to put in.

but besides all the bad points of arts fest, we can't deny that through all this we have all bonded closer together and had a lot of fun and in the end everything was worth it(: i could see how far we had come and how much we have all grown and learnt how to perform better. and i guess in the end arts fest wasn't as much about performing to others but for us performers to show others what we are capable of and what we really love to do.

i don't want the year to end ): and then we'll all be old people.

i just realised how fast we're growing up.

imagine we're going to be in sec four then jc then we'll all be split up into different universities and going our separate ways! i was just thinking about this and there was this fear of growing up but yet i can't wait to grow old and find out how my life is going to be.

and soon enough we will all be old and having this weird reunion in rg and everyone would have turned out so differently. we would all have gone through different things and people will change! and now it seems like things will never change and we'll be young forever. i'm scared of getting old and wrinkles and what if i don't get married!

but i guess we are all scared and yet life goes on anyway. so, i'll just take it one day at a time (:

EVERYONE SHOULD TOTALLY GO FOR ARTS FEST

support all the people! and you hardly ever get to see so many pa groups performing together(: yups and everyone worked so hard to put this thing together(:

today was actually a quite fun day!

we had mrs tan's talk  in the morning, and it was quite boring until the videos part. sigh i think what she said at the end was quite true, about how we have so much more than them and how we should appreciate what we have and accept imperfections (: sounds quite easy to achieve, but in reality i don't think so.

and peifen and jiafa from 933 came!!! O: a bit weird to see them in person talking to us when i'm so used to listening to them on the radio. but they are really pretty/handsome! being a dj is quite cool eh.

the movie was a bit sloooooooooooooow but then we get to see and hear famous people! like nick shen who is quite cute! i used to like him when i watched channel 8 shows:D

prac was quite awesome i think (: pdq/go the distance sound okay at the moment and we sound quite good with guitar so far! haha ms tsang came in to talk to us and look at us and gave us this motivational talk thingum (: still quite angry that we are missing net carn D: but i'm quite sure that we will all enjoy ourselves during our performance! haha all the teachers say that we look like we are enjoying when we prac haha great at least that's something we learnt from ms goh!
 
after prac went with debo to cine to support steph! hahah i saw a lot of familiar people that i think i saw during the camp! hahaha don't think i can sports present if i was chosen. steph was so funny but the cheerleading was quite good!

hmm want to go somewhere quiet and stone(:

today was a good day the exams were not as bad as expected! I thought both of them would be quite hard but chem wasn't hard at all (except perhaps the last qn which i spent 45 mins on but i think i have the right answer to it since my answer was the same as caiwei's) haha i was secretly pleased that i actually remembered most of the charges of the nitrate and the nitrite and the sulphate and the sulphite super confusing but haha oh well. yups and i felt accomplished but i hope that i didn't make a lot of careless mistakessss!

history was super fun haha i think writing history essays make people high i kept smiling when i wrote my sbq and seq haha i think as long as you figure out roughly how to write the essay the rest will be a breeze and history actually needed mugging! i just realised it this time yup and my sbq was the neatest essay i ever wrote in an exam:D

this is the hardest i have ever mugged for an exam so hopefully this will be translated into results that can hopefully pull my gpa up.

GRAH i think physics will be super screwed but heck whatever they are not going to count it anw. and chinese is unmuggable, so i'm going to slack my weekend away haha YESH.

class lunch was fun haha we need class bonding:D:D:D

exams are over sooooon!!! i really can't wait to stop this go to school, take exams, come home and mug until 12, sleep schedule BAHHH.

math was not so bad i spent more than 1 hour on the singapore flyer question and i didn't get the answer ): but anyway it's over and I think my m1 is going to be quite fine (enough for a 4.0 hopefully!)

back to memorising chem and history stuff SIAN.

when i was studying bio in the morning i felt another tremor and i thought that somewhere not so far from us something terrible is happening ):

it's amazing how something so great that happens not so far away only affects us in the way of a small tremor. It's hard to imagine what people who are living there are going through right now

I guess we should just count our blessings and do our part to stop all these terrible things happening! man's impact to the environment :)

F1 rocked haha Hamilton won(: i think it's quite fascinating and i can spend the whole time just watch the drivers just go round and round 61 times and not get bored.

exams just round the corner and it's the last week of proper lessons for sec 3 O:

i want to go overseas nowwww. anywhere like taiwan or australia or japan! ):

term 3 is over in a whoosh! it was filled with yucky pts and exams i think i was super stressed out those few weeks! but its all over (for now) and i'm not going to mug during this week and rest! (ahh but still have to do hist/ss fa)

MAYDAY CONCERT WAS AWESOME I GOT SUPER HIGH hahaaaa :D

and i bought quite a bit of (fangirl) stuff but i got there kind of late so there weren't many t shirts left but (:
it's so different to see them live than to just listen to their songs i think they have great stage presence! haha and the concert itself was just great! my favourite bit was when they finally got to interact with the audience. And they sang until 12 midnight :D:D

yesterday was the best day I've had in a long time- no exams plus fun fun fun!

be yourself day haha (almost) our whole class wore our class tee, so it's quite easy to recognise 314 people! even though lessons were kind of boring but haha we took lots of photos and i took linn's cam to take photos (esp of amelia and her weird face!) yup bio was fun haha it was the best bio lesson i can remember it was fun for once, and i was laughing like mad while the class was debating and siow was giving weird commentary stuffs :D prac was fun too haha but i had to count above all the noise and i realised that my voice is low so i have to shout extra loud. KE SHI i think we have memorised PDQ :D:D yay. 

and speech days was unexpectedly okayishly fun too(:

even though i spent most of the morning sleeping and smiling at people i know, but the day went uphill from the concert segment i can still remember when we performed last year and we were there too! oh and in sec 1 our whole batch spent the whole day in the dance studio sleeping and taking random photos and looking at the seniors makeup. and singing the song at the end which i surprisingly knew the lyrics to from singing it the past 2 years(:

lunched with a bunch of people and the food wasn't that bad too. see how much $$ the school spends on these kind of occasions they even had chocolate fondue which ran out of chocolate/stopped working haha luckily there was some left from yirong and gang(:

五月天concert in 5 hours! I've been looking forward to this since january omg i'm super excited!!!

and teachers'day too on monday i already know it's going to be lot of fun with awesome 314 and friends (:

the last 3 weeks have been a whirlwind, with the pts and exams and STRESS. I'm super tired man.

yup it's finally almost over and then we can all have fun.

today has been a good day, lessons were slack, slept during speech day rehearsal (where i sat for 3 hours waiting and sleeping and just went up the stage ONCE ): ), then went to shop with cai (: retail therapy rocks.

oh yeah exco results were announced, congrats everyone who got in (: oh man next year we're sec 4s already O: heart batchmates a lot a lot a lot i feel that i can tell you guys anything man.

there's so many things i want to do
and so little time. (:

oh yeah OMG OMG OMG it's 8 days to 五月天's concert i'm super looking forward to it!!!!

1. the new aces routine is weird i don't like it!

2. and i don't like the physics teacher either (or the subject)

3. rushing out hist fa is not fun.

4. oh no a lot of pts are due sooon.

5. i need to work on my english

6. i got minused 2 marks off my ga for not converting a fraction to lowest form and for putting an equal sign which should have been a colon

7. spent rs block carrying bricks for mr lim to plant seeds (and he showed us this forest gecko which he carried around the school after that)

8. i have nothing to wear tomorrow!

I watched harry potter for the second time today, still think it wasn't too bad(:

(and i'm still secretly waiting for my letter of acceptance into hogwarts i think it got lost on the way here. And i'm still convinced that i have a hidden ability to make things move with my mind.)

1. there was ga today, i think it should be okay i want to get a full marks for once! and i stupidly didn't bring my calculator, thank you hemin for lending me! (haha i was so desperate i was panicking when i realised i didn't bring it 2 mins before ga started)

2. left class during recess because: today we performed at Suntec! we put on our makeup first before we moved the stuff up the bus, and it was hot, we sweated a lot.

haha there was finally air-con in suntec, i missed it in class! but it was still super warm when we performed then i was perspiring like mad throughout the syf songs. at least the audience was mildly appreciative(: and there was this 2 angmoh kids in front who are Super Cute! and they kept clapping i think they liked the performance(:

and the host was the guy in the school sports programme on tv! and he kept talking before our performance we had to stand there smiling for 5 mins while he was talking.

3. the way back was a lot better and there was free food and drinks!

4. went out with jo deb grace and liying to far east(: it was nice talking to them
